Lifelong Learner University (LLU), by Valley Sheltered Workshop (VSW), is a college-inspired learning community designed for adults with intellectual disabilities, developmental disabilities, and members of the neurodiverse community who are ready to continue learning, building independence, creating meaningful friendships, and prepare for what's next.
After high school and transition programs end, learning and personal growth shouldn't. Every individual deserves opportunities to keep learning, growing, and thriving throughout adulthood.
LLU was created to open new doors and provide the next step—a welcoming and supportive community where individuals can continue developing life skills, exploring new interests, building confidence, fostering meaningful relationships, and increase active engagement in their communities. Because the journey of learning never ends—it is lifelong.
LLU exists to relieve family stress and strengthen communities by creating opportunities for adults with intellectual disabilities, developmental disabilities, and members of the neurodiverse community to learn, grow, build friendships, increase independence, and prepare for meaningful lives within their communities.
